Conservatives Unhinged as Movement Falls Apart

Its my understanding that Clear Channel syndicates the Limbaugh radio program. If they have a drug testing program now might be the time to see if Limbaugh isn’t back on the Oxycontin, Rush Limbaugh Says Angry Blacks Are In 30 Year Plot To Train Black Children as Militants. A prominent Conservative spokesperson pulls a black ops helicopter out of his ass. Should we ask for pictures. What are rational people supposed to say to trash like that. Limbaugh says that for the last 30 years black Americans have been engaged in this huge plot. Could we have some statistics from a study. Should we step back and ring the little bell for the attendants to come and take him back to his room. There are two major schools of thought regarding public discourse with Conservatives like Limbaugh. One, you ignore them because they’re incoherent klowns. The other is to engage them and refute their argument. The later, as frustrating as that can be is the best course long term. Ignoring the unhinged doesn’t make them go away. On the other hand when they get to the point when they”re drooling and making unintelligible sounds, what is it exactly you’re left to enrage them in. The timing of Rush’s umpteenth breakdown is not coincidence. Its clearly connected to the real possibility that Senator Obama may be our next president. So if we take this black militant uprising conspiracy as seriously as Rush is taking it, that means that the scary dark skinned people would call off the uprising if Obama were not elected. That doesn’t make any more sense then bring on the angry uprising if Obama is elected. Limbaugh takes a lot of verbage to say it, but drags out the old Klan canard about Black Americans being lazy and unintelligent – for lazy stupid people they do an awful lot of conspiring and organizing. Ok, I tried to take Limbaugh seriously and make sense of it and it just doesn’t work. Call the attendants.

It must tough for the king of the Roman Empire Conservative movement see the kingdom that he took so much credit for, come crumpling down.

Court casts doubt on Ohio voter rolls

Late in the day – in a victory for Republicans – the full Cincinnati-based 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals overturned a decision made last week by three of its members. The result: Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner must create computer programs to cross check all new voter registrations so that county boards of elections can doublecheck new registrants.

Which just gives the ACORN conspiracy crowd one less reason to whine. Though it is likely this will result in eligible voters not being able to vote.

The average American investor. Many of which are invested in the market through their employers 401k have spoken, Record $65bn pulled out of mutual funds

In an extreme flight to safety, both retail and institutional investors were shifting their money to checking accounts and Treasury bonds, he said. Money market Government funds, which invest in Treasury bonds, have seen big inflows at the expense of money market prime funds, which invest in commercial paper.

GOP Strategist: McCain Put Country at Risk With Palin. We didn’t need yet another Republican to tell us how cynical and unserious Johnny’s pick was. i suspect a lot of what we’re hearing is the ground work for Mccain was right on the issues and would have won if it wasn’t for what’s her name. And the librul media of course. Conservatives are consistant about a couple of things. Looking in the mirror with a grim determination not to take responsibility for anything is one of them.

McCain Transition Chief Aided Saddam In Lobbying Effort

William Timmons, the Washington lobbyist who John McCain has named to head his presidential transition team, aided an influence effort on behalf of Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein to ease international sanctions against his regime.

Its tempting at this point to start my own conspiracy theory. No wait, its not a theory. Republicans actually have had more dealings with Saddam then Osama Bin laden.

Bulls, Bears, Donkeys and Elephants

As of Friday, a $10,000 investment in the S.& P. stock market index* would have grown to $11,733 if invested under Republican presidents only, although that would be $51,211 if we exclude Herbert Hoover’s presidency during the Great Depression. Invested under Democratic presidents only, $10,000 would have grown to $300,671 at a compound rate of 8.9 percent over nearly 40 years.
